So, desperately waiting to take off to London. Before, I got a few questions.
1. Are we gonna get fabric wristbands/ribbons/whateveryouwannacallit at the entrance?
2. What are we gonna do after the venue closed? We come from Germany and we're not really used to those early closing times of clubs. As far as I can say this by now I'm not gonna stop the shit at 6 in the morning. Furthermore check in time in the hostels is usually 2 pm. What we gonna do between 6 am and 2pm?
AFTER PARTY DETAILS for SUNDAY WILL BE FORTHCOMING REAL SOON
Keep it comin!
3. As we come by plane, we'd like to avoid importing our special herbs. But crashing with some weed is the hell better. You've any recommendations how we can arrange something there? Maybe you prefer answering to this aspect by private message!?
4. How many tickets are actually sold by now?
Goddamn, I'm so exited, I got to channel emotions and quickly buy a fresh Bunker shirt from godspill ...
Dirty, brown and miserable,
raz0r
woah...does godspill no sell a 'Dirty, Brown & Overexcited' T-shirt? ..
i'm sure our London bots will take care of us.....if drop your moible number via mail to some cunt, they;ll be doing the rounds & im sure you be notified of any pre-/post/ drinking.eating.nonsense.
or if your bored..you could always try & get arrested/shot try to scale the walls at Buckingham Palace
or if your bored..you could always try & get arrested/shot try to scale the walls at Buckingham Palace
they welcome that shit here.
hey raz0r...at which hostel will you stay?
Im going by plane from Germany too...
only concern I have is not to get lost somewhere in london, hehe
Get an A-Z and pick up a tube map when you arrive. You won't really need the A-Z, actually. The venue is about 1 second away from the Elephant & Castle tube stop, so you will be fine.
okay...so whats better, getting an oyster card or a travelcard?
I will arrive on thursday and stay until tuesday morning...
Think you'd be better off with a Oyster card, since you'll be here more than 3 days (they have 3 day travelcards). You probably won't be doing much traveling, and the venue for the festival is in Zone 1, so those tickets are cheaper. I'm terrible at this sort of advice though, Meschi or one of the other lads would be more sensible to consult.
my hostel is at picadilly circus and I will try to see some highlights or go and look through some recordstores and I really dont know how much travelling that will be... but thanks for the info, I guess I can lookup the details somewhere online anyway.
Piccadilly Circus is very central as well. You can walk to most of the things you will want to see, probably, in terms of tourist attractions, etc. You can probably even walk to Corsica Studios from there if you like walking. Would probably be about 40-50 minutes. The tube maps make it seem like things are really far apart, but London is actually pretty compact. Unless you are going to Hackney you can walk almost anywhere, it might just take a little while.
Also, Google Maps is really good for directions in London. I use it for walking directions all the time, just set the drop down to "walking". It will give you a good estimate of how long it will take, I've found it to be very accurate.
For travel that involves public transport, the journey planner on TFL is excellent. http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/X … anguage=en
Temperatures rising.
Hot Hot Hot....

Don't they still have this small ticket booklet, called "saver" with 5 bus tickets in it? That was actually quite a cheap way of travelling. But I've been to London on last New Years Eve and i considered travelling in London to be quite cheap.
wooohooooo only one week to go, all the tickets are in my pocket , I'm there so bewaaaare. Will be very cool to see/meet up with you all next weekend. Coolex!
* you might say I'm a bit excited
wish i could come. will sure be a great weekend. have a blast!
