Ok. I understand you can lower the price by cutting down on artwork, labels, weight, etc etc.. but I just dont understand that you cut down on the music itself (single sided) to save money, because putting out new music is the main reason for releasing a record I assume.. especially when releasing music on vinyl is getting more and more difficult/expensive..
if they really wanna save money... then they should print 2 single sided releases on one record (both sides).
when prices go up, you get more critical
just bought the duracel one have to skip the rest
the elec ones are nice too, but yeah can't efford them

If you wanna press under 500 of a normal run you have to pay an extra fee of 90 euros, which makes printing 400 or 500 copies cost about equal. So Nukubus' calculation is only partially right as the difference in pressing 100 and 500 is 400 x 0,78 = 312 euro -90 euro extra = 222 euro
not anymore, Record Industry recently dropped the minimum from 500 to 200, so only when you press under 200 you have to pay extra (not with testers, though)
