i would highly recommend the nikeplus, i got mine in the other day. i think it's gonna really help to keep me on track and improving. here's a screenshot of what mine looks like when i'm logged in:
i've only done 2 so far, obviously it'll get more interesting when you get more data into it.
you can also get a weekly breakdown, and on each run individually. if you type in your postcode, you can see routes that people have submitted to google maps - very cool stuff!
i'm going to try and stay off the bevy till mine (sept 5th) - i'm two weeks clean as of sunday there

Ah nice one! Mine is in London but its also on the 5th... I'm sensing we could maybe have a little bit of friendly competition here 
Ive got something very similar I use on my phone, tracks you movements, speed, time etc, then can load them up to the net.
I would be staying off the bevvy but its also my birthday at the end of the month... so don't think that will be so easy haha.

it would be cool to have a health and fitness thread on here to report our progress, but it doesn't seem that too many robots are into exercising!

Be sure to wear the right clothing, cos when you don't inlineskating suddenly turns VERY gay.

Got my uni outline and I'm going to be working with MaxMSP for the whole term. That's if my brain holds up and I don't kill my teacher first

because today is the start of my birthday weekend... which usually lasts about a week. Also, heading off to Dublin tonight for my birthday and lunar disko's birthday. Also heading straight from there back to Glasgow for a week...

My friend asked me to dj an old school hip hop / electro set with him at a pretty popular club for an electric boogaloo night and hopefully I will be playing regularly at another night with Hysteric <3 All this and I can't mix properly. Haaha. And I also have two films on the go, one in which I get to do the sound design & foley for fight sequences and make punching noises with watermelons.

My next project at uni is a performance based on the Iliad with the production support playing "the gods" influencing the action on stage. Which I guess as sound designer that means I'll be operating on stage in a costume. On second thoughts, maybe I should be posting this in the "life sucks when..." thread
