Re: IFM Demo Contest

@queen of blood

you're right with the factory aire, sorry, i seem to be pretty squished today, strange smile

Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, -life- has surface noise..." [John Peel]

Re: IFM Demo Contest

I am sure it is a little mistake only. But since my friends asked me for the score on Akers I was wondering a bit.

@captain duran,

you're right, something went wrong here but i don't think that was intended.
there are always "friends votes"  i think but in a total, this seemed pretty realistic especially
having in mind that only 3 tracks could be voted for what is a hard selection of the three shows.

But that alex akers thing definitely has to be in the top 20, i think i will ask ferenc or smackos maybe
to check if i'm wrong with the counts, but the ifm frontpage says:

(votes for alex akers):

r3r3 => 1p
e-control => 5p
casualista => 3p
(arthur) => 5p      (don't know if it counts, was it a change? )
ross ID => 3p
shinxx => 3p
tomplex => 3p
spacelex => 5p
captain D => 5p
(soulrider) => 1p  (vote maybe too late, around 23 CET)
______________
gives a total of 33p or at least 28 without arthur

Alex Akers was also my top #1. I changed my mind when I remembered how great it was and they said on air that I still made it in time so they should have counted it.

Do it your way, because everyone else is just weird.

Re: IFM Demo Contest

There were some mistakes made regarding the initial counting due to the *cough* loud music at the IFMX.
Top 20 has been corrected, France & Vince and Alex Akers added to the top 20.
Thanks Captain Duran and QoB for pointing it out to US and sorry for the trouble.

Re: IFM Demo Contest

Relistening to  the last show:

... Tend the light is just fantastic.
... Also web of lies is kickass, very catchy.
... Fantomas track is supercool, I love the Shadow of the beast-pitched down flute thing and the warm pad.
... Both Ratsnake and Septic UG is banging but that is obvious

will continue tomorrow, zzz

The same here also .... Loads of very good Demos. Personally I dont like Rankings and Charts because they only catch your mood of the moment. At work I was totally into Bastardo (it really gives me the thrill) and later Fantomas, Alex Akers and Weltwirtschaft saved my day, so this doesnt mean that I dont like the other entries ... Its all an energy pool where we can give our mood a kewl Soundtrack ... even the Shredder had good times through all of this ;-) Nevertheless Woodlouse and me had super fun and really touching moments. Thanx again to all who were involved into this marathon-flight.
