My mates here in Sheffield  are bang into the kind of new school hard techno that producer and hellfish make. The best people I've heard are DJ Dolphin and SPL. Dolphin has been playing at UK hardcore raves for years, but has now reworked his live sets around a computer and is quietly knocking out some of the best laptop sets I have ever heard, in any genre. Dunno if you would really call it gabba as it's closer to the kind of D&B that Hidden does, but its really brilliantly put together pure adrenelin music. Here's his myspace:

Nah I've had a look before and there's not really much out there - some of his 90's hard acid sets make it online every now and again but more recent stuff is rare.

Dolphin played in December but his mix isn't up there unfortunately. The Macheen Boi and Distorted Panda ones are worth checking though.

I never liked hardcore stuff much, I guess the closest I get is the hard acid. There is something cheesy about the whole hardcore thing that makes me cringe. Stuff like this I can handle though:

gabber & hardcore are 2 seperate things.

Early gabber wasnt that hard/fast at all, just deep MKS50 shit like Holy Noise and such.
