end of an era, although much of the credits of the tracks go to ,for instance, Quincy Jones for producing andso etc...

MJ wrote most of his biggest tracks, Thriller, Beat It, Bille Jean, Don't Stop Till You Get Enough etc...

I'll try to find the thread on vintage synths where his keyboard player talks about how Michael told him to play certain sounds, basslines etc.. He also talks about the synths they used and how they wrote them.

It's a shame he will be remembered for his child molestation allegations,.

RIP Michael and thanks for being a major part of my life.

michael jackson! look what you've done!

Re: RIP michael jackson

I hope he will be rememberd for his great music and performances (no one can dance like MJ did in his best days!!! Ever!) and that all this bullshit about child molestation will be forgotten soon. I never believed it. And I don't really care. Not many have done as much good to the world as he did. It makes me sad and angry how he was treated by the world in return!
And his music has always been an inspiration! (actually no need to mention..)

RIP King of Pop

Re: RIP michael jackson

Tears come to my  eyes sad

Memories of my early youth are flashing in my head.
Oh man, he was my first love and I was so smitten with him.
"Man in the mirror " always shed my tears.

I repeated playing songs again and again and when I was singing along loudly under the headphones of my walkman wink
my parents got to peeve.

Michael, now you are gone now...
A star died  out in our world sad

But your light is shining in our hearts and your soul lives eternal.

I hope the world where you are now is these one of your magic peacful imaginations.

Re: RIP michael jackson

...well, well, well, child abuse can lead to many, many, many things...

why do so many people like something, that has only be done to compensate a feeling of being not loved by mum and dad ?

yes

the question is really can we separate a persons professional life from his private life..

Re: RIP michael jackson

Im afraid not but there are plenty popular not so 'nice' (either for private or proferssional reasons) hero's that are still popular today. Wagner, Che Guevara, Mohammed, Franco.... so on so on...

Re: RIP michael jackson

never really liked his music, though some tracks on Thriller are not bad..

but you wouldn't want to wish big parts of his kind of life to anyone.. it almost had to end this way..

RIP michael

everything is not so nice, they just did it in a professional way.

there simply arent just two acceptable forms of sexuality and it never has been like that.
primarly he has been (giga-force) abused - there were even tv docus broadcasted about that - but someone who hasnt got something cant give something, etc.

theres no reality, everyone got his/her own, everyone is right, but if theres no collective awareness of whats right or wrong anymore then only one thing is left at last...
