Played this tonight and the quality is really lame ... that said i still like the track
The track itself is OK, but I don't get the hype. Is it because it's been released only now?

there's no hype, if your from planet cbs you know the drill
quality i have 2 copies and they just sound fine to me

Play this in a club system and youll see what im talking about , it dosen't sound that different in a home setup. It's raw and dirty and that's maybe the aim Novamen intended im just not fond of that type of production style.

i dont get it either...
like the beat by itself, some seconds at the beginning & the end, thats it...
maybe it's because it's got some feeling to it and it doesn't sound like some random drumcomputer pattern with a lot of rave sounds on it?

Lies by the Novamen is a magical track. Like a very few others in the electronic galaxy. First thime i've heard it, i had the "chair de poule" (as we say in french). These melody fall from very high from the heaven. All discussion about the sounds who is like this or like that, the empty b-side, etc. miss the point.
thank you i think so too, to me it's the best track we (novamen) did, but maybe because it doesn't sound like drexciya or whatever some people don't like it, their loss.

nice italoish dancefloor drama but i'm going to pass this one. wake me up when you make some music that sounds like it was made in this century.
good music is timeless
