but isnt everything = 0, while 'no income for traxx' is = -1 ?
this way the result then would be = -1 = illegal.

is there a difference between listening to those mp3's at bias' home, or having him sent them over the internet because he lives too far away to drop by that easily?
or is there a difference with this situation: bias makes a copy for private use of traxx album, on a cd, and then he let me borrow that cd from him, so he sends me the cd by post?

the way i see it is that the artist shouldnt expect people to buy their music nowadays. If the album means anything to the person the person will buy it. If the album is medeocre the person will download it. Basically just make a fantastic record and people will buy it. If you build it they will come.

he is right. and hes got a reaon to be pissed.
im not against downloading though. in fact i believe it can be pretty good promotion and i do it myself as well if im not sure whether i like a record or not or sometimes just because i can. i would never pay for mp3. most stuff ive dl and dont buy afterwards is stuff i wouldnt have bought anyway, or that is too expensive for me. but the stuff i really like i buy (sooner or later or at least put it on my wantlist, hehe) no matter if i have the digital file or not.
but anyway, better delete it.
