these were through when I got home

watched one day... first. really well made documentary with a good whole story of what happened, including the only surviving terrorist to tell his part. only downside is the footge, there really was hardly anything new in there at all.

rec: jesus man, thats a scary film. totally what 'diary of the dead' SHOULD have been. I was shiting myself all the way through, which is totally what I want for a horror. I watched this with headphones on and the soundtrack (all ambience) was amasing and they were throwing in really deep, reverby subtle noises to freak you out. it worked.

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Shivers. One of the few cronenberg films i still havent seen. I found it pretty damn boring

The Hamiltons - What a surprise to me that movie was. It disturbed me pretty much, which is unusual and which meant it was realistic to me. Its defientely much more than the average newer horror flick. Heavy but spacey atmosphere and nice visuals is the main reason that it works so well, cause the acting and story isnt that amazing in itself (but works fine). I dont really know what to compare it with but i hate these newer rotater-action "shock" based horror movies AS WELL as the ultra amateur trash stuff, and this falls into neither category. Recommend it very much although i suspect most people wouldnt like it. But maybe tha man from central services does wink

vom: from what youve said, it sounds like I would really dig this. adding to my rental list now. high priorety smile

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Go for it yeah, id be curious to hear what others think of it. Sometimes i feel like giving up on the horror/gore films because theres so far between the good ones that its annoying, so its cool that still sometimes one shows up that really makes a difference. I guess i wouldnt even technically call this a horror...there is a certain movie that i could compare it too and which im sure served partly as inspiration, but it would be a giveaway spoiler to mention it. But nevertheless really one of a kind film imo smile

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Didnt think too greatly of Hellboy 1 either, but im hearing from many that 2 is better. But im not gonna storm in and see it, ill wait for it. Its not cause i dont feel it do justice to the comics, cause the comics imo are not that interesting + i dont like the drawing style very much.

Argh no please not you also...youre killing me man...VIKAREN one of the worst movies i saw this year. Its danish bank commercial-style all the way with a very simple story and a whole bunch of very annoying "wonder kids" who takes over the lives of their sorry excuses for parents. This is a really negative trend that is actually real here and depressing. I just couldnt bear watching that movie at all, made me wanna leave the country asap. I hate the danish filmworld sad

Did you see the hamiltons though?

edit: Nattevagten is a good film, youre forgiven smile You may also wanna check this one if you dunno it already http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113030/. My sisters husbands cousin is actaully in it, though i never met her, lol
