@Technicolor - yeah that was a good one, nicely psychotronic.
I saw this yesterday:
pretty intense.
Getting this Portugese flick off Karagarga, based on a JG Ballard Short Story - "Low Flying Aircraft"
looking well sick

nice one MANASYt i'm going to have to hop onto KG and get that one as well
finally manged to take break from Breaking Bad, and watched Limits of Control.
i enjoyed it, a calm and peaceful film (in a way)
i think the shooting was very 70's in a way, and sound design great.
+ soundtrack by Boris and Sunn o))) - nice
show was cancelled after s01...
thx cloud9 for the kara invite! right now im dl lilian the perverted virgin

House. Japanese movie from the 70s. Incredible!
Last night I saw:
The Expendables: Kaboom, Trash, "She's really not that attractive", Blammo!, "I've changed my mind", "You and I are not so different" speech, blood, head explodes. Credits.
Piranha 3D:
This might be Alexandre Aja's only good movie. Some people really like Switchblade Romance, but any film that uses Muse on the soundtrack can go fuck itself and don't even get me started on the "twist". I hated the Hills Have Eyes remake and thought Mirrors was just plain boring. This one has lashings of nudity, pointless OTT gore, a stupid plot, awful acting, and Eli Roth. Who would have thought that actually it would work.
Well done Aja... now Hit it DJ Chocolate Thunder!
Mesrine: Killer Instinct (2008) - so lame i had to leave after 30 minutes. ashamed that the cute girl who sold me the ticket knew I was wathing this
so I snuck into see
Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child (2010): this was million times better
Surveillance was sick...totally my cup of tea
Did you guys see Lynch's Dumbland animation stuff...dunno if i mentioned it before.
Apparently he does all the voices as well...
start here .
I'm watching Twin Peaks for the first time (woo 20 year anniversary, I think, my parents were watching then and I was a kid haha). I've seen the pilot and the first two episodes and I am already blown away! Seriously! Hooked!
watching a gorgeous documentary on canvas (belgian tv2) about flemmish immigrants in wallonië (1880-present) at the moment. mainly about the Charleroi / La Louvière area. interviewing local people. gives a beautiful clear view on cultural differences, the mentality etc.
fantastic, authentic people being interviewed, lot's of grey, steel factories, flats and crooked chimneys. very moody atmoshpere. i can almost smell Liège's smokeplumes through the tv screen..
Amazing documentary about street kids in Seattle in the 80s... "Streetwise"
