Watching Heroes almost at the end of the first season, I heard that the second one sucks sad

For me Heroes was one of the most overrated shows ever. All my colleagues were crazy about it but frankly I found it all pretty boring. It's like a mediocre movie told in 20 hours or so while it should have taken 2.

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

yeah, i never got into heroes either. but then i generally dislike tv in general, so that might be why. i know a lot of people who cream themselves over that series.

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Shaun Of The Dead.

I'm more of a fan of the old Romeros and was quite skeptic about this one but I have to say it had some great moments big_smile

Gladiator.

Do it your way, because everyone else is just weird.

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Generation Kill - a new mini-series by The Wire's David Simon & Ed Burns about an elite battalion of US Marines in the opening phase of the 2003 Iraq conflict (based on the book of the same name by Rolling Stone journalist Evan Wright). The combination of Simon/Burns and accurate military depictions is my idea of TV heaven. The first episode was more an introduction to the cast but it was great.

(I just found out that 'metrosexual' Sgt Rudy Reyes in the series is actually playing himself - not bad acting - although he does spend the first episode looking pretty).

Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay - I lol'd quite a bit.

The Keep - still as fucking diabolical as it was the last time I watched it. The only good bit of the film is the first 5 mins (see love of accurate military depictions above) and of course the soundtrack.

Manhunter - because I love it so much.

You're Fucking Out, I'm Fucking In

tonight ifc is showing Brotherhood of Death. awesome 70's movie:

Three Vietnam vets becomes vigilantes against the KKK-inspired racism abounding in their Southern hometown in this violent drama. The African-American trio soon help their neighbors rise up and violently face down their Caucasian oppressors.
