Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Don't know if this has been posted - would truly need a robot to browse through the 45 pages (though a quick search reveals nothing!) ... Watching Fellini's Satyricon right now and must say that's a beauty.  Makes me want to learn Italian (& Greek!).  Talking about Fellini, La Dolce Vita is also a must see if you're in a cozy/weird mood.  Old Bunuel films and Last Tango in Paris as well for the matter.

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Just finished Eden Lake...i think someone here recommended it. Well it was surely a brutal film...kinda like an updated version of last house on the left...and there were scenes that werent pleasant to watch. But the film lacked a better story, even though the message is clear its not really enough. But yeah it was an ok film, better than most crap of the kind today

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

I went to see the new friday 13th in the cinema the other night.

Im not usually one for remakes, but this was good fun and good entertainment. Loads of Gore, Screaming and Nudity. Loads of references to the old series and genuinely quite funny in places. I dont think at any point the producers were trying to create some moody piece of modern horror, instead making something more resembling classic slashers flics. One of the more surprising opening sections to a movie Ive seen smile

I saw Control the other day, it's a piece of crap. I forced myself to keep watching but only managed with fastforwarding most of it. Incredibly corny emotional scenes.

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Word, Control is utter shite. I barely made it through the movie.

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

i agree, tried to watch it the other night but slept through most of it, or atleast tried to.

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Big Trouble In Little China on RTL 7 22.30u. tonight. For Dutch viewers only (?).

starring Kurt Russel and music by John Carpenter. Never seen it. Don't expect it to be as strong as Escape From New York (also with Kurt Russe and John Carpenter). Got the 12" of the theme laying around here somewhere...

i remember it as better than escape, but im also not a huge fan of that + its been many years

Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!

Lost my attention after 15 minutes (maybe because it was on television)...boring, didn't like it. I just kept it tuned in on the background for the music by John Carpenter which is sometimes nice. I could watch Escape From New York over and over and still not get bored.
