Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!
watched this over the weekend, brilliant from start to finish
the blurb on the front reckons it could be the finest irish film ever made.
there's not really much to compare it against though

One of the best comedies I have ever seen, I am disappointed that it is over.
Just finished "let the right one in". I liked this a lot more than i expected...somewhat heavy and moody movie, but free of too many cliches and stupid dialogue...the girl actor is really good in it. I bet the swedish goths and vampirefreaks love it
Fantomas: That one looks real interesting...gonna check it out

how was it?
Really Good. I saw it years ago, and remembered parts of it. Beautiful movie about the life on board of an U-boat in WW II. Hard to imagine how that would have been. Constant risks of danger, terrible smell, bad food and no privacy. Really great movie and a great soundtrack as well.
@ meschi
watch it and you will know!
it's one of the best german movies ever + super soundtrack!
Meschi:
Try to watch the uncut Version or atleast the Directors Cut. . The regular cinema-version is good, but the uncut Verison gives u the ultimate thrill!
that scene where they watch the ship burning and the crew drowning is powerful. That really stayed with me. Great movie
My favorite film of all time.
on a more pedestrian note, I'm quite enjoying Joss Whedon's new outing "Dollhouse"
Edit: hope to watch The Quiet Earth tonite

his face is so orange.
the best documentary i've seen all year.
The funniest TV series in a hell of a long time...
It is funny and the character is really good but I felt there wasn't much else on offer apart from his disgraceful antics.

Zodiac (2007). I thought it was really good, although at least 20 minutes too long
nice wee monday mornin film.
lately:
burn after reading - nice
the devil backbone (El Espinazo del diablo) - depressing
the wondering jew - a story about theodor herzl and about the zionist idea (1921).
lost - last 2 episodes were great
amazing film, some slightly shoddy acting by the kid, but good film.
sitting down to:
Watched the first series of IT Crowd, the "Aunt Irma" episode was hilarious. Now watching the second season..
