some friends got me the Dawn of the Dead Ultimate Edition for my b-day. i had never seen the Argento European version of the film, but i am liking it a lot more. Goblin soundtrack and faster editing almost makes it an entirely different experience.
wow. ive never seen that thing. Im going to have to get a hold of that!!
in the process of getting the first session of battlestar galactica. Ive finally given in to the iamelectron recommendations!
it's chock full of documentaries and commentaries too. even comes with a comic book!
i haven't gotten into battlestar yet, i've caught a few episodes here and there, but word on the street is you need to start from the very beginning.
cocaine cowboys 2
seems a bit fake
@ Meschi: Cool, I hope you started with the BG mini series? Otherwise it might be a bit confusing.

yep, great documentary, but a tragic story. i wonder if she really didn't have any regrets...
why? think she had a great and exciting life, even if there some things went wrong...
sure, but she did get hooked to heroin, she even got her son hooked to heroin, and when she gets clean and changes her life, she falls off a bike and dies cause of a misdiagnose. exciting yes, but tragic too, so it goes i guess.
some anita ekberg stuff tonight, screaming mimi and the man inside
I liked The Host. One of the better asian monster movies lately.
Cadillac records
and lost's last episode.
The Host - funny film i like the scene at the beginning when the people throw garbage on the creature

I know a girl who said to have never regretted anything, even though her life had many fucked up things in its past. I can say I've never truly understood how it might be possible, but admired that about her.

hm, I started watching them about a year ago, I can't remember where I was streaming them from
I watched for the first time ever:
beastin film, beastin soundtrack and way way ahead of its time. Loved it!
edit: there was one scene that looked so good, it looked like really well done cgi. Its the bit where the invisible alien is wakling up the metal stairs of the spacecraft and the stairs are bending under its weight. nice.
oh, I dl:ed it a few weeks ago! still haven't seen it either.
@Meschi - Forbidden Planet is great. I used it for inspiration for a mock design treatment a couple of years ago - it's based on Shakespeare's The Tempest.
