That Chimay lingered like I'd had 4 of the fuckers. Went to that Sapphire Lounge place but restrained myself to a couple of pints of Guinness, otherwise I WOULD have got into a fight on the bus, so no hangover as such... Some cunt gets on and sits adjacent to me, looking like a cross between a loan shark's simple cousin and a Koopa baddie from Mario World, He cracks open a can of Stella and drinks it in 45 seconds. repeat to fade...

checking in with the usual headaches. few pints in me local followed by a bucket of rum in what used to be an east end dive while a friend played 50's rock and roll.
the last time i was in the rum place a junkie came in off the street and tried to sell me raw meat he had just robbed from the supermarket. it was that kind of place. now they have wi-fi and a barman from seattle with a devil's haircut

Ha, i miss that these days, used to be a permanent fixture, up in Kilburn watching Celtic european matches. Although maybe trumped in the desolation stakes by a pub in Govanhill, where a friend and I were having a quiet pint in a real dive near his gaff with his middle-aged, portly and thoroughly middle-class parents...when one such smack-chasing woman shuffled up to the 50 year mother to ask if she wanted to buy any jewellery extensions for her belly-button ring.
got a hangover without drinking... maybe the flue has finally caught up with me
