i was off booze for 5 days last week too. never felt better. last friday and saturday drunk 5 pints and i still feel run down and tired. alcohol is very bad for us. it's poison. it fucks up your body for much longer than the hangover lasts. too bad i like whiskey and beer too much to stop completely.

throbbing headache, lots of mucus in my throat and nose, severely dehydrated, shakey.

when i finally could get up i had a mighty strong breakfast (bacon and eggs and cola), a few sports drink and some valium.

now i'm much better.
