Ahhh yea just slightly crazy in Melbourne yesterday. It was warm and sunny and then at 3pm bam! Massive storm hit, it hailed for 20 mins and flooded all over the city including the main CBD! Almost all the buildings in my campus at uni have been damaged and classes have been cancelled while they try and clean up
fuckin hell man, thats some killer hail stones.
9:30 am cloudless sky in Sydney, 23 degrees climbing to 28. I think I'll hit the beach today.

09:11 am grey sky in London, 6 degrees dropping to 3. I think I'll kill myself today.
it's finally starting to get a bit milder here (was unusually cold for march), so i'm no longer freezing my balls off when i'm waiting for the bus in the morning... bring on the summer!
and btw, fucking *wow* at the size of those hail stones, that's fucking scary!

to the world's most boring country - Qatar
@jacderida - jeezo what the hell do you do?
Connery Impersonator?
I do a mean Robert De Niro, do you think there is work there?
hehe, i can assure you it's nothing as glamorous as james bond
i work in software engineering. when i was at uni i done a placement year for a wee 6 man company. i made them a system to help the engineers manage all their equipment. that company was based in aberdeen but had some joint ventures in the middle east (in qatar and abu dhabi) who also wanted to use the software, so i went out there to set it up, then a few more times for doing maintenance and training and stuff.
i've got a proper day job now, but i took on some extra work for this company last november. i thought it would take me a month but the job's still going now, but going out over the easter weekend should be the final part of it. then i'll hopefully be picking up a pay cheque of over 2.5 grand for it, which i'll use to pay off some of my credit card debt . it's been tough to do 2 jobs but it'll be worth it to get some of this debt cleared.
anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread with this crap
going out over the easter weekend - you'll miss slabs/spellcasting then?
i'll hopefully be picking up a pay cheque of over 2.5 grand - "give me your money george"

on topic - "glasgow's smiles better" today is a fine day for a run/walk in the park. Yesterday must have been daddy's day to take the kids for a walk, dozens of them, mid week too..could be the future no
aye, while you're all partying over here i'll be stuck in the most boring place in the world
it is indeed a nice day (tho it was *freezing* this morning again), even out here in east kilbride where i work (which is normally some sort of bermuda triangle when it comes to weather ). you talking about queens park btw? i'm gonna go for a run around there tonight after work.
