it's been glorious here today; crisp & pale winter sky, no wind and not a cloud to be seen. it's just starting to get darker & go pink in the distance...

fires are surrounding me in anaheim (southern california) an apartment complex 2 minutes down the road has completely burned down. very gloomy and ashy outside. streets are heavy with traffic due to people evacuating their homes. 
edit: 2 fire fighters have been injured so far in the anaheim fire 1,000+ acres burned. there are fires in corona and brea as well and don't have as much info on those fires at the moment.

I thought you were down in San Diego. I didn't realize you were so close to the fires. Stay safe.
It was like the apocalypse here yesterday. There are fires about 15mi north of me, but all the ash and smoke was blowing towards my neighborhood. My lungs hurt, but the air is alot better today. I think they were able to get some of the fires under control since the winds died down.
