I know in the states you can find houses or condos for rent via craigslist. Sometimes there are special websites too.
It tends to be a lot cheaper than hotels and you get a much bigger, nicer place.
I have no idea how or if this works in Holland though.

Were coming from Amsterdam but looking for hotel/appartment as well (no drunk driving). I guess an option could be a vacation home in the vicinity of Rdam. Can't find much inside the city.

I was actually planning to be vacationing in London with a friend around that time anyway, and then I found out the necro party was going on, and I will already be in London anyway, so the timing worked out really well. It was my destiny.
