Its a JV1080/JV2080 in a keyed housing, XP30 is somehow better coz it has more sounds onboard I believe.
Nowadays I think the JV80 engine is a bit dated....next to the Motifs, Fantoms and Korg Oasys stuff...

Still a legend of its own the JV80 engine...

I'm thinking getting a Chroma Polaris or a Siel opera 6

What are the prices? They seem a bit alike. Polaris 2 VCO per voice, opera 6 2 dco/vco per voice, maybe the 6 has less modulation possibilities.
both are pretty rare. It seems that the polaris is used allot to repair jupiter 8's and such due to same chips etc.

What can you tell me about these?
