apparently its got the choirs and strings of the k1, so i'd say so.. but any synth is worth buying for 25 euro..

I think the XS-1 is the rack version of the Kawai Spectra, their cut down K4. The pHm "pop module" was the preset K1 box. Still worth a go at that price!

People in my city are dumb. I wait forever for a Juno 60 to show up locally. One did today. For $1300!!!
He says "no ridiculous offers."
How about "no ridiculous prices."?
I feel like emailing him and offering 500-600 but it's probably not worth it. He probably paid 5-700 for it online and is trying to flip it. I'm sure he knows exactly what it's actually worth and trying to find a sucker.
I should have just bought the mint one I saw in a Vancouver music store for $400 a couple of years ago and brought it home.
Even came with road case.

I'll see if I sell some records here in the next few days. Saturdays always seem to be a busy day on Discogs.
Modular mania has drained me so it'll have to be a few days. At that price I don't think it's going anywhere fast.

I wouldn't say you're whining (well not tooooooo much :-) ) - I'm just puzzled why you want a juno60 so bad given all the cool stuff you already have.
I guess I just don't see them as that special or rare. they're sure not rare over here in aussieland.

I like the sound. Maybe nostalgia from playing around with one as a kid. And I just don't want one shipped in. Would be nice to get one local.
But I did think about it at this afternoon. There's no reason for needing one. That's for sure.

Any free pickup is worth taking. That is unless its 10 hours driving or its been run over by a truck.

Local Juno 60 guy has it at 1k now but I'm still pretty broke. In a month or so I'll offer 6 or 7. It is impeccable to be sure.

Alos would you rather go for a JX3P over a Juno 60? A couple in these parts have popped up for $200-$300 recently. I keep hearing about what a great synth it is.
