Re: The Quick ID Topic

@Queen+hysteric

It could be a theme taken from a movie but then somewhat discofied. So a discoversion of a movietheme (by Goblin?)  probably. The melody of House By The Cemetary is different from the sample so I don't think that's it. It has that some baroqueness I agree.

"...but then somewhat discofied."
-> hm, i don't think it's discofied... it sounds to me like the snippet is taken directly from the movie!
must be a scene in the nature with birds or insects in the back and i hear someone walking on grass.
that's why i first thought it's maybe taken from phenomena by argento, but then again the snippet sounds older to me.

Now that you mention it I hear some birds and walking (or digging maybe). First though that the walking/digging was the dial of a radio. ;-)

Thanks for all your help. And MITO1982 let us know when someone knows on that Italian site!

You're right about P'Cock. This track was played on the CBS, but it was called "P'Cock - N 1,4". So, Scarface, it's either The Prophet or N 1,4! wink

Re: The Quick ID Topic

@Queen
At second thought I think Smiles used some of P'Cock's N1,4 for N1,4 / Magnetic Dance. So there's some N1,4 (written by Al P'cock) in it and some Magnetic Dance (written by Rossi? see labelscan). http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=593234

I never heard the original by P'cock so I wouldn't know what's the difference with Smiles - N1,4 / Magnetic Dance.

P'Cock "N 1,4" was in the cbs database. Heard it often. Love this track. Produced by Klaus Schulze btw.

Just checked the short bit of La Grotta I have on FD's Amazing Run In The Tube Vol. 3 but that doesn't sound like it's the one.

It's a disco-cover of the older rocksong by Ace.
