Re: The Quick ID Topic

Can anyone help with a track from Intergalactic Gary - Tough Romance

14 minutes in italo male vocal, lyrics:
moving in the town / where people (???)  / getting to my work / we welcome to the night / records on my arm / drinks are in my bags....

Male chorus - just cannot stop, cannot stop
Female chorus sounds like "Big DJ from Paris"

Anyone know this tracks name?

thanks alant1000

With your kind complicity

"edit: hehe, a bit like quick id the other way round wink"
-> that reminds me something...

about 2 years ago someone was asking on the cbs for a track played by loda... hmpf, or was it baldelli? no, i think it was loda.
anyway, back then i was pretty sure that the track was by the ndw guy hubert kah. but couldn't find anything on the net...
if i remember it well then it was this track here (the second one... after the intro). well it's not hubert kah, but michael cretu,
who later also worked together with hubert kah...

thx kuczera. so it remains a mystery.
found a video for 'burn it up' though, which is also funny:

silly me, that i didnt look for den haan burn it up before, but just tried to find that cowboy. tststs. smile

edit: even sillier me, to think for a second, that finding the den haan video would solve the question, if the same track was used for the cowboy video.

I am looking for this track I found on old I-F Mix from WDisko. It`s kind of an afro-house beat singing "it began in africa".
would be great if someone knows this tune!

thanx queen of blood, that must be the original, where the vocals are from. but the only track I could find with those`it began in africa` vocals was some terrible chemical brothers tune :-(

Weird cause i this was the first time ive seen it, but ive heard this tune before. Has someone remade it or something?
All i can find is the synth music is by Michael Boddicker, performed by Ganymede which i gather is a fictional name for a band.

@ Fips
"but the only track I could find with those`it began in africa` vocals was some terrible chemical brothers tune :-("
-> yeah, i know... but that's not the only one where those vocals were used. it seems there are a whole bunch of tracks...
fatboy slim (urban all stars) also used it and some other trance and jungle guys abused those vocals too.

@ lixa-6
hm, that's an interesting one... very nice! according to discogs "the rec room" is composed by michael boddicker and richard rudolph.
but that's not the track you are looking for... check: http://www.cinefilevideo.com/2007/02/13 … 4-outland/

.

Re: The Quick ID Topic

Good innit
Yep i read goldsmith made that rec room track just for the soundtrack release it wasnt actually in the film.
Hmm dosent look like They released any of the real synth tunes by boddicker and rudolph, shame the other synth tune in the film rocks aswell, boooh i want!

"positive mutation!"

Re: The Quick ID Topic

lixa-6 ... that track appeared on zoopsie's "icy flakes of emotions" mix. http://robotdj.net/getme.php?id=1770
