Ok, Darshan Jesrani played this disco track on Saturday night: the lyrics were something like "I'm gonna LOVE you! I'm gonna HOLD you" with a female vocal, classic disco sound more on the funky side with strings. Sounded like very early 80's, maybe '79.

Sorry this is so vague, can anyone help?
I should have asked him what it was but was too busy dancing!

a song from 88 or 89!  sounds like a cybotron clear remix but it doesnt say "clear"!

it is a jammin ass electro song!  it goes "ahhh, ahh ahh, ahh, ahhhhh!"(like whispering) in the middle of the song

I once heard it on a dj technician mix about 5 yrs ago!

very essential electro song

i got a couple trax from the x-bobo high energy III mix (respect):

Part 1 - 36 mins in, vocals along the lines of: "My life is leading my death, my death is leading my life....i'm sitting on the broken glass"
Part 4 - 11 mins in, the track immediately before Le Tigre - Deceptacon (DFA remix).

No synthesizer too arpeggiated, no disco too italo.
