what QOB said highlights the breathtaking double standards of this thread. if the shoe was on the other foot how many guys in here would stay with a girl that they didn't want to be with, that they didn't see a future with,  that didn't turn them on, that didn't make them happy, just because she would be heartbroken if you split from her?

I was in this situation for a year.

After we broke up, I found out she had felt the same (sort of). Funny stuff.

i love this line from Seinfeld

Jerry and George at Monk's

Jerry: So, are you gonna go out with her?

George: I might.

Jerry: What about Susan?

George: What? I'm not married. I'm not allowed to go out with somebody else?

Jerry: Depends.

George: Depends on what?

Jerry: On many factors.

George: Like what?

Jerry: Well, how long you've been seeing her. What's your phone call frequency? Are you on a daily?

George: No. Semi-daily. Four or five times a week.

Jerry: What about Saturday nights? Do you have to ask her out, or is a date implied?

George: Implied.

Jerry: She got anything in your medicine cabinet?

George: There might be some moisturizer.

Jerry: Ah hah. Let me ask you this. Is there any tampax in your house?

George: (Pause) Yeah.

Jerry: Well, I'll tell you what you've got here.

George: What?

Jerry: You got yourself a girlfriend.

George: Ah, no, no. Are you sure? A girlfriend?

Jerry: I'm looking at a guy in a semi-daily with tampax in his house and an implied date on Saturday night. I would like to help you out, but...

i do agree to this, and this is one of the reasons why i break up with her.. i want her to be happy. But of course, i am being egoistic too, i want to be happy too smile it still hurts though.

Bottom line these women don't want you to father their children so either correct whatever flaws you have or move along cool

I'm in a divorce struggle atm. Without broken heart 'cause that happened years ago, but still painful sometimes. 20 Years of marriage, what a waste.

Re: the broken hearts club

sucks dude. hopefully she doesn't take your money along with your heart.  sad

Re: the broken hearts club

We're on speaking terms, so far so good. But let's see what next months brings us.
Hopefully I won't have to split my records.

Re: the broken hearts club

I'm having a crush and it feels great. The tricky part is that I don't know for how long - I'm scared of letting myself to fall in love because I'll end up crying. Now please let me have this...

Go for it, Henri! Don't fear it, man. Be careful, but try not to fear letting go. Don't let the shit of the past ruin your chaces for something good. Not trying is worse than getting hurt.
Just waiting for my next chance.

Saw my ex yesterday on a club again and i've been depressed all day again. I'm starting to feel i don't have anyone to really talk about this again. Everyone kinda assumes i'm over it allready. I wish i were.
Fuck.

Hang in there, Flagio. Again, if i'm devastated over some short term stuff, i can't even imagine what you divorcees go through, so i wish you a lot of strength man.

on Hemelvaartsdag? Bummer! Well, now you can come to Gent to go to one of the crusty parties that are here on a regular basis. I have a "logeerkamer" so...  smile
Last night I went to Fuse club in Brussels and I saw a good friend of my ex who was talking bullshit about her like "be glad it didn't last because this and that". I couldn't care less to be honest, I had a great night.

That's what this thread is for...we're here to listen Fossa, we don't give good advice, but we listen (or we read actually not listen..)

Actually, there's one coming up on the 22nd of July but that's still a while, don't forget that it's "examen tijd", June is always very calm when it comes to party's. But there should be more in the near future, there are party's like that every month @ minus one. I'll check.
