Pistols at Dawn

We are excited to hook up with Glasgow's hottest new club of 2013 - Pistols at Dawn.  2013 has been a big year for Pistols at Dawn; starting their new night in January at La Cheetah with the ever excellent Balearic Mike, a sold out show starting a run of fantastic events. With Melting Pot favourite, Bill Brewster, to the Ibiza legend Alfredo, and new kids on the block, Bonar Bradberry from PBR Streetgang and Tusk Wax heading up an impressive list of nights that have put them firmly on the map.

The Pistols guys have a fabulous taste in guests, and are excellent DJs in their own right. They are going to fit right in with Melting Pot and our anything goes music policy. We can't wait to cross swords with some of the newest challengers on the scene and duel to the death over who can slay the dancefloor!

Divine's Psychedelic Soul Lounge

We hook up with our fellow Admiral residents, Divine!, again, to create the Psychedelic Soul Lounge upstairs after having such a fabulous time together over the last few new years. Andrew Divine plus Holly Calder (Eyes Wide Open) and Jamo Kidd (The Freakbeats Club) will be causing mayhem on the newly refurbished upstairs dancefloor. Andrew's record collecting skills are a thing of legend! Expect northern soul, heavyweight funk, Tamla Motown, sixties freakbeat, dynamite ska, E-Z listening and psychedelic soundtracks - a unique blend of established classics and new discoveries.

We take our sound system at Melting Pot VERY seriously, and we are continuing to make improvements all the time. Not many venues in the world can lay claim to have better. We do it all for you, the dancer, to give you the best experience we can!
