Following our passeggiata excursion last time out, our christmas parti sees us return to our home spirituale of Odessa for a heavy hitting line-up featuring three new cugines set to become Forza made guys, an OG Italo Disco legend, a returning Detroit don alongside il Forza residente, and our in-house 70’s sitcom specialist not to mention the premiere of Forza’s first foray into film production. Spread over the decadent two floors of the Odessa Il Casa and Il Terrazza Forza is the one festive soiree you’ll not want to miss. So join us as we party like it’s Christmas 1983. Italo-ho-ho-ho. Il Terrazza

A true legend originale of the Italo scene Clay Pedrini was a charismatic presence in the clubs and television stations of early 80s RAI channels i Silvio. His all-time hammer from il pantheon di hammers, ‘New Dream’ will bring us hurtling closer to the new year & the new dreams we are all looking for deep inside us…”New dream, Everybody, new dream”. The mysterious Pedrini worked closely with Manlio Cangelli (Scotch, Wish Key, Blue Russell, Disco Hallowe’en), on this and and possibly other tracks….chi lo sa?!. Clay will be flying in hammer-class on on Al Italio airlines direct from Milano with his wife. Un benvenuto warmo natale awaits il maestro at Forza HQ.

Providing support on Il Terrazza we have a merry band of festive Italstars including three new cugines making their Forza debuts. Joining us to play for the first time will be DJ Carlito Aquilani with his own top, choice selection of heartbreakers. Carlito is one of the Aquilani brothers who in their own way are as ever present at Forza as the those of the Nicolosi clan. DJ Marco Altoni also pops his Forza ciliegia on the evening. Having recently returned from his homeland, where he was a test driver for Fiat, defying gravità e la fisica hurtling around the rooftop track of the Lingotto building in Turin. Marco is a regular ragazzo in città, playing everywhere and anywhere that requires warming with his disco heat. We delighted he has swapped his hotwheels for the wheels of acciaio to set the Forza floor ablaze with his estensivo collezione. Jetting in from the harsh winters of his winter retreat in Berlin to luxuriate in the damp winter of Dublin is DJ Patrizio Pronto. Taking the italo sound to the Berliners via Kleine Reise Dischi expeditizione, Patrizio joins us en-route to his casa spirituale in L’Acqua Ford whilst driving home for Natale ala Meester Christo Rea.

DJ Leonard Rossiter makes a welcome return to the Forza giradischi taking time out during a busy season pantomima. As happy producing italo infused house anthems on Europes top labels such as Uzuri, Dischi Apartmente, and most recently Photic Fields, as he is on the set of a his latest sitcom for LWT, or indeed leading the panto chorus alongside Bob Carolgees and Paul McShane of Hi-de-Hi. Leonard has already filed a Belesconi-esque expenses sheet at Forza HQ and we a promised an asssorti exclusiva of new treasures for this occasione speciale. Bellisimo!

Il Casa

You don't have enough fingers on one hand to count the number of Tadd Mullinix's musical aliases. Often does an artist want to explore disparate genres, and sometimes they try by releasing under various project names. Rarely does this ever work, but it's part of Mullinix's growing legacy to consistently pull it off with tact, empathy and exuberance.

JTC has been leading the way for a new wave of jackin' house, acid house, techno and electro under the aliases James T. Cotton and JTC. Recording for Spectral, TNT, Nation, Creme Organization, Udek, Frigio, M>O>S, Minimal Rome, Frigio, Hoya:Hoya, Ansatz, KillEKill, Lux Rec, and Relief, collaborating with Todd Osborn (TNT), D'marc Cantu (2 AM/FM) and Traxx (Saturn V), and having remixed Orgue Electronique, The Horrors, and Depeche Mode - he has received critical acclaim for his raw productions from influentials like Laurent Garnier, Traxx, Ron Morelli, and Trevor Jackson. Be prepared...JTC is back to Jack The Casa. Opening up on the night is Forza impressario Simon Conway.

Back in August, Rago & Farina wowed the Forza audience with their first live performance in over 25 years. To document this occazione momento we invited award-winning film-maker Anna Maria Di Barro & compadre Tim Shearwood down to film the live performance and interview with maestros Gigi & Franco. We’ll be screening this worldwide premiere on the big screen in Il Casa with couches pulled up and gratis mulled wine & minced pies for the early arrivistes, join us for Forza’s first foray into film production.

Once in a Lifetime: The Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos
Opening up Il Terrazza is the documentario calcio spectacularo. New York, New Year, New Dream! JTC is away from mama in the lead-up to Natale so to remind him of home back in the United States of Acid, we bring you the story of the rise and fall of the N.Y. Cosmos. The football team set up by Steve Ross (Warner Brothers) and Ahmet & Nesuhi Ertegun (the founders of Atlantic Records) that brought Pele, Beckenbauer and ‘Utopia Me’ Giorgio Chinaglia to America; against the backdrop of N.Y. City in the 70's. A soundtrack including Love Unlimited Orchestra, Donna Summer, Kool & The Gang, Maceo & The Macks & Sparks amongst many other, this is for the lovers of Calcio-ho-ho!
