Magic Waves is back with a bang for March as we're very proud to present a live set from none other than the legendary Electrick Dragon from Rotterdam for this month's party!

Electrick Dragon, also known as Rick Van Breugel, is one of Holland's best kept electronic music secrets having released literally hundreds of records since the early 90s under an incredible variety of pseudonyms and schooled many of the Netherlands' finest producers in how to use studio gear along the way too. After starting his musical career in 1979 spinning disco records in Holland, Rick rapidly got to grips with the emergingly available synthesiser technology of the early 1980s and having produced many a classic of early House and Techno music he has in the last few years now turned his veteran ears to a fresh take on the Italo Disco sound of old and filled it with his own Dutch electric inspiration, under the perfectly fitting alter-ego of Electrick Dragon. First up was a stunning pair of tracks on the Moustache label's classic 'You Can Trust A Man With A Moustache' Volume 1 and 2, and after following that up with a full length EP on the same label we were very honoured to release another EP from Rick ourselves on our own label Cyber Dance Records. Emotion, passion, inspiration and true electronic feeling have rapidly become the trademark sound he represents with a feeling for melody and arrangement that just can't be denied by anyone lucky enough to inhabit the dancefloor confronting him. Having played for us before in London on more than one occasion we are very excited to present his debut appearance in Berlin as Electrick Dragon, and are sure he will be bringing some of the original magical Parkzicht feeling with him over from Rotterdam when he delivers a live set just for our dancing pleasure!

Joining Electrick Dragon on the line-up is of course the usual Magic Team of resident DJs Casionova, Franz Underwear, Naks & European Man, all playing the bangers from across the genres that will keep you on your feet in non-stop dancing motion til dawn. Get ready for a special Saturday night full of Electrick Magic!!
