Hey man, Zauberstab... Grazy lyrics taste! Heard it in the Movie "Die flambierte Frau" somewhere in the 80s and didn't have a clue about the song. The lyrics are crazy!!
And Ganymed.. they have the most impossible cover artworks ever. Hilarious!

Zauberstab is great yes. Lyrics etc. Didn't know it was also used in a movie (interesting). Actually I know it from Queen Of Blood (I remember she bought on earlier edition of Utrecht Fair) so credits for "great taste" I pass on to her. smile
Ganymed is really ear- and eyecandy, yes. I'm more into their spacediscorock-tracks (like most) not so much into their rockonly-tracks like Money Is Addiction... (great title :-) and Bring Your Love To Me but maybe I have to get used to those. Cheers!

Besides the records found in Milan got this package in earlier:

Actarus - Atlas Ufo Robot (Cetra) (LP): with nice sleeve that folds out like a poster.
Deborah Haslam - Hot Stuff (Media Records)
Intro - Haunted Cocktails (MCA Records)

Re: your last purchases of records

well, actually za za - zauberstab was a big ndw hit in the 80's.

another song about witches which was pretty popular at our local new wave club was walpurgisnacht by recht herzlich: http://www.discogs.com/Recht-Herzlich-W … ase/639151
check: http://www.myspace.com/rechtherzlich

oh, and there is also this one (same title, but totally different track): http://www.discogs.com/Neue-Jugend-Walp … se/1597795

I really like this record, some flavour of Eurythmics in there.
btw there's also a cool 9 min version on disconet

today i received: Spices and Pepper Men - "Pepper Box" 7"
Have given up on getting the 12" for a normal price, but the 45 is long enough for me.

I like it cause you had it in your Haunted Cocktails-mix ;-) and also cause I knew it from the flexipop series. Was after it for a while and finally could combine it with an order of other records I wanted. Cheers!

I paid 3 euro,  a bargain I found out later. I must admit I didn't know the song, but  for some reason I had the feeling it had to be good when I saw the record, so I took the chance. I was delighted when I heard the song. Really amazing.

Feeling like a "cosmicdude" but then without the $ as in "co$micdude" big_smile  with this order from Clone coming in, as if it was from outer space....wow:

Alba Ft Fred Ventura 'Without You' (Aube 011)

@Scarface
That picture is nice to see how many records you can recognize or how many you own yourself, though it's a bit difficult as it is quite small, the one their site is slightly bigger right? I think I see 6 records on this one that I have.

Last purchases:
v/a - Banana Line lp (Banana) with Vivien Vee songs Follia, Laser and more Banana stuff
Material - I'm The One / Don't Lose Control 12" (Elektra)
Baccara - Sorry I'm A Lady (RCA) Japanese 7" with Gimme More on the B-side, no matter how cheesy Baccara is, Gimme More is a fantastic song in my opinion
Stupids - Peruvian Vacation lp (Toxic Shock)

New Vinyl Booty:

Dark Star O.S.T. (John Carpenter)
Poltergeist III O.S.T. (Joe Renzetti)
Sigue Sigue Sputnik – Love Missile F1-11
Michael Rother - Fernwärme

The Dark Star Soundtrack was a lucky find in a Berlin Recordstore. Beautiful copy, vinyl looks new.

Just randomly picked that picture from google-image (the one on their site is bigger yes). I think I got about 10 of them, not counting bootlegs (got a few of them) and a lot them have been bootlegged meanwhile. Receiving the two records on Private Records gave me the cosmicdude-feeling b.t.w. wink

Easy to tell it has been pay day lately!

Mick Wills - Atomic EP (love that cover of The Flirts)
Executive Line - Look Around (only paid £5 for this great wavy italo record  big_smile )

Carly Simon - Why extended version (reissue)

and I bought these from an Indian seller on ebay, although postage takes 20-24 days!! hmm
Babla's Non-stop Disco Dancing LP (£6)
Sharon Mussarat - Chal Disco Chal (£6)
Bappi Lahiri - Disco Dancer Ost LP (£8)
cool

have considered buying this on many occasions, mostly due to the amazing intro.
However I personally find the male vocals on the chorus too ear-shredding for repeated listening.

Nice catch for £5 though  smile

Re: your last purchases of records

Yeah the Radio version is the one with the amazing intro, but apart from that the Radio version is quite weak. The Disco version here is a lot better to my ears, but still has the chorus.
