5. Klapto - Mister Game
6. Laserdance - Around The Planet

13. John Carpenter - The End
14. Scotch - Penguins Invasion
15. Felli - Diamond In The Night
16. Gino Soccio - The Visitors
17. Masterplan - Electric Baile
transition between "Midnight Fantasy" -> "Nothing" is so good
I didn't know Visitors was a Gino track. It is very epic. Thanks for that.
Anyone have any other suggestions for mixes I should hear? Sorry, I'm a bit of a newbie.
I've really liked IG's In America, and Indecs' Diamond and Waiting for Midnight mixes.
There's this guy too, IF, who made some great italo mixes : http://robotdj.net/?dj=I-f
ah yeah, I have heard the mixed up in the hagues - they are great.
but thanks for the suggestion
Check out DMP's "Tivoli Theme" mix. It's full of classics and got me into italo in the first place.
check the 3 "electric minds" by Intergalactic Gary
My ultimate recommendation:
David Vunk - Bardancing la Moustache!
Probably the best mix I've ever heard here - in spite of Mixed up in the Hague.

I listen to DMP's "Eightythree in Rimini" mix almost daily - easily in my top 5 favorite mixes of all time!
I've listened to tons and tons of mixes - do you know of any other mixes which flow so well and have such a great track selection? I'd love to hear them if you do!
EDIT:
And where can I get Freak Electrique's "Italo Mix"? I'm not seeing it on robotdj.net...
My ultimate recommendation:
David Vunk - Bardancing la Moustache!
Probably the best mix I've ever heard here - in spite of Mixed up in the Hague.

Ofcourse this is a matter of taste.. but if that is really the best mix you've ever heard here, you either haven't downloaded a lot of mixes or your definition of a the-best-mix-ever mix is solely based on the tracks in a mix.. Not saying it's bad.. but i've heard better..
Ofcourse this is a matter of taste..
Indeed...
but if that is really the best mix you've ever heard here, you either haven't downloaded a lot of mixes or your definition of a the-best-mix-ever mix is solely based on the tracks in a mix..
Be sure, I've downloaded a lot!
Furthermore, good tracks are not the only criteria for me. Sure, my favourite mixes are these ones, with lots of well known "hits" and fave songs etc. But it also depends on how they are mixed together.
I've also heard a lot other mixes, from other members with many "hits" inside, but for some reason, they don't kick ass like the bardancing mix. Don't know why... some mixes kick you, some not, although both tracklists seems to be good...
Another important point is: Most of the mixes have at least one part, which I don't like (some songs I don't like, or which are boring for me etc.)
Bardancing is one of the very few, without any boring parts! Important, very important! You can enjoy the mix from the beginning to the end, without any gap.
And hey, Waiting on my angel never ever sounded so phat, like in this mix. Wonder how David Vunk managed to make the handclaps sound as phat as they do there... Grrreat!
Not saying it's bad.. but i've heard better..
Please tell me all, which are better in your opinion!! (I'm always looking for good mixes )
Anyway, that's a hard opinion about the Bardancing mix. I'm sure, there are many folks here, who like it a lot. It's very vell mixed. (not only good track selection !!! ) For example the part when Odessa Theme seems to be mixed in after Gil de la paz, but then Gil comes back to sing again, ony to disappear finally, a bit later.
To only thing to critize for me: Later in the mix, it seems like David Vunk wasn't keen on mixing anymore, cause he only played very short parts of the last songs. Why fading out Future State, right in the middle?? (the last song!)
if you like bardancing la moustache check out the man & woman mix of vunk & chick. Discoparade overdrive!
I listen to DMP's "Eightythree in Rimini" mix almost daily - easily in my top 5 favorite mixes of all time!
yeah i just downloaded this mix, it's awesome!
cool how he lets the tracks play out for a while too. sometimes i find it a touch annoying when only really short segments of tracks get played in mixes.
