we'll go to Italy by Car

looking for record stores and nice romantic restaurants
or other cool places

maybe it should be great to meet other robots

cheers  david

Re: Italy

Other cool places in Italy can be football stadions. I know u r a football fan, therefore you should go wherever you are to a match. Unfortunatley they start not before august.

Re: Italy

@David
where are you going in Italy exactly and when?

Re: Italy

the route will probably be something like Milan, then down west coast till napoli, and upwards again thru eastcoast, i'd like to see rimini since we missed out on that last time..

Re: Italy

let all meet in genova wink

Re: Italy

i always liked Liguria and Tuscany for the landscape. can't recommend any specific place (city) though. i also very much enjoyed Calabria, but it's thinly populated and in general a more rural region.. but thats what makes it's charm smile

and of course you have to got to Rome if you havn't been there before... though it's horror with car

well, have fun you two..

damn i also need some vacation

Re: Italy

in milan you should check Metropolis - via Padova 104
but I can tell you there is not much other than that.

edit: ah, definetely check Mario Torelli (mondo musica) in Reggio (Emilia Romagna), MONDO MUSICA DI TORELLI MARIO & C S.N.C.

Re: Italy

yup, not much else but Metropolis in Milan. This after Ice Age in Corso di Porta Ticinese closed a few years ago.

If you want a kick ass restaurant though, check Boccondivino in via Carducci, 17. Not exactly the cheapest but as soon as you sit down they start pouring food and wine on you...almost literally!

Shame I am not planning a visit home David!

Re: Italy

also, posto di conversazione, on naviglio grande, food is great there, nice area to walk anyway there, and there is also il discomane, but, hey, woodstock rock there... behind there there is my faourite bar, called tango

Re: Italy

Check FLAIK MUSIC in TORINO about 300.000 pieces of black gold there but a F*%(*%$%King Mess to look into it
this guy's but Club stocks and stack them in boxes last boxes are at last so the first are way back!!! and stacked on top...i found a lot cheap ones there.....also see if you can find Mariposa disc also Torino there use to have
boxes in the back with old stuff...

a tip see if you can get hold a Fred Ventura...he know's his way in the City...Milano....there is also a Record store in Milano that sells only ITALO the dudes name is Roberto....i was there couple yours ago were i met RUDE 66

another one is way out of direction...San Fransico....close to Cowley studio's 10000000000000000000000000000000 records there....but....one big Mess!.......so tune in you TOM TOM and go for it :-)
