yo, thanks so much for posting this up. i've been drifting away on the disco to jack progressions of a couple of frankie knuckles/farley shows for the last two hours...blinding stuff. cvan't even begin to imiagine how exciting this must've sounded over antenni at the time

It was my favorite pastime as a child. I would make excuses to my childhood friends to avoid playing with them (on weekend nights) and staying home to record the mixes. Was my weekly ritual until the early 90's.
Do it your way, because everyone else is just weird.

^ i don't doubt it i guess those who had to wait and came to the chicago sound on their own, in a more roundabout way (nobody i knew growing up was playing anything this immiedate & appealing) get an almost similar excitement hearing the original broadcasts, with hindsight

Their Internet Radio station is excellent too - http://my.wbmx.com/go?/radio. I was lucky enough to be in Chicago for the HotMix5 Reunion last September, it was awesome!
