OK, for some stupid reason or perhaps laziness or even the fear of having to spend more $ buying their whole catalogue, I've never gotten around to listening to many of Drexciya's tracks properly. So I've dedicated this lazy afternoon to listening to as much as I can.
HOLY SHIT! I get, I finally get it. This is goosebumps shit.

Also check the new DJ Stingray album Aqua Team 2, a track like Potential & "Its all connected" totally has the "real" drexciya feel to it, I guess he also produced with them back in the days
this has got to be one of the most frequent forum topics but it's a bit like the the acid house scenario in that it's a revolutionary process. right now....

Sighting in the Abyss - The first Drexciya tune I ever listened and still my favourite, 1995 a fantastic record shop in Newcastle called surface noise (now a car park!). Was a life changing moment listening to the first bar of flanged snares!
So short a tune! You just have put it on again and again!
TLR finished his set with it on the stubnitz in October, I nearly wet myself!

also maybe it wont get a mention, but one I'm listening to a lot more recently was The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope. I only say that because my favourite is already mentioned, and you might aswell try to get all drexciya stuff anyway

Am I the only person who thinks drexciya is the most overrated thing in the history of the universe? Even bias likes em a lot. To me, it sounds like just-about-not-techno with a misunderstanding of evolution as its "story"
