Re: Moby!

i can't even begin to understand what happens inside someones head who a) listens to moby b) starts a serious topic about it on a internet forum. please remove yourself from this planet. thank you.

Monkey see, monkey do.

Re: Moby!

Im really curious about all these supposedly good tracks he made.. GO adds nothing to the original, thousand is just a terrible track with a linear bpm increase.. What is good?

Re: Moby!

To add aq little bit positive moby has done, he was in an early hardcore (punk) group called vatican commandos...i dont know how much influence he had on the song making, but a few of the songs off their EP "hit squad for god" are quite good imo...lot of attitude, something which cant be said about most his other stuff. I absolutely loathe that album he made with "we are all made of stars". Im not even gonna look up what its called, you know the deal and the audience for that kind of thing and its one of the reasons why i liked cbs and to some degree this forum, enjoying robot music and not out with the latt

"Luc-Ass deserves every flack he gets. In fact, I think he's getting off pretty easy. What he REALLY Deserves is to go broke and be forced to move into a dumpster behind Pizza Hut."

Re: Moby!

moby - not even bad enough to be good

M.O.R. my favorite kind of music. Not too distinctive but easy to the ears. Bring on moby.

big_smile (can't remember anything good an that album)

Like(d) some of his stuff (Go!, I Feel It, Thousand) during the houseperiode and later on he did an o.k. job on the 007-theme. Porcelain I even like(d) also. Later on he went too much pop if you ask me but didn't follow it al that much.

Moby did a hardcore album I saw him support Soundgarden. It was shit.

A paranoid is someone who knows a little of whats really going on.

Re: Moby!

even if i don't like his music, i can appreciate that he is an animal activist and has used his fame to spread the word

Re: Moby!

i like that least about him

Showing the way for the modern man to become a Model Man.

You lot wanna be grateful it wasn't an "Is Moby Balearic?" thread.  wink

Is all sound music?

Re: Moby!

he is a born-again Christian, which makes him something of a hypocrite for stealing royalties off dead blues musicians
