I don't like him either, but who cares, if there's people that want to say something about is, please allow them to.
It's so childish and pathetic to just close it without a good reason. I think narrow minded people like that should not be here.
I will have to try any artist or subject to get an indication of what is allowed by the regime here...

I agree with Raoul.. There was no reason to close the Moby topic.. Who says we need you (or anyone else) to direct our focus, BMX? What is the main focus... is polka allowed?

In what way is that thread weaker or less focussed than, say the dog topic or the hangover topic (which i think are all great topics personally)
Isn't the whole idea that less relevand topics will fade when they stop being relevant, no need for moderator intervention there.
I think it's just a judgmental action by an individual deciding what is and isn't good enough for us. The Moby thread fits perfectly on a forum concerned with electronic music like this one, if you ask me. Especially since it was also discussing his relevance to the genre today and in the past.
Where do you draw the line? Should there be a Radiohead topic? Ill unlock the Moby topic when there is a conclusion.

So if I understand it right we can open topics on baking a cake on this musicforum but we cant open a moby topic?
I don't see any radiohead topics emerging? Why does a moby topic have to lead to more topics about "non-underground" music?

Why do you want to draw a line? We don't need a guardian angel to protect us from unclean topics.
The fact that there were 25 reactions to the moby topic shows it wasn't entirely pointless.

What is that R4R focus?.....This started as a cbs clone and the focus was never explained by STENTEC
