Topic: Telefunken S 600 record player - any good?

Dear gear-savvy robots,

I should finally get a record player. I'm not planning to get into serious DJing, just want to be able to play a piece of vinyl from time to time. So I could potentially get my dad's old record player for free, which is a Telefunken S600 hifi (made around 1976).

Do you guys think it's even worth getting this thing from the attic, or should I try to get some other model off of ebay or such?

offcourse, try it. Telefunken is quite solid i believe

(b.t.w. my gf grandfather was a telefunken rep in Brasil, lucky bastard just went before the war started.. equal chance he was a spy though wink
