Re: Nice/Cannes

There is an amazing Jewish cemetery in Nice.

If you are less culturally minded there are quite a few sex shops which are among the most creepy and disturbing ones I have visited.

Promenade des Anglais is full of prostitutes at night  (not exactly a recommendation!)

There are some decent 2nd hand record shops, I just looked and found them so can't give you the addresses, but I found some good stuff - Flirts- Helpless and Talko -Psyko Flash I can remember off hand.

Re: Nice/Cannes

@Lucio Robo - that's very professional, if I had an agency, I would hire you right away.
I'm not into scooters or skiing, but the rest seems very exciting. I'm a big Chagall fan, btw.

My travel plan now includes Paris as well, just found out about it yesterday.

@scott_neon - the sex shops may be worth a visit, but I think I'll pass on the Promenade des Anglais, since I'll be on the road with my girlfriend - she may object to that sort of tourism wink

thanks for the info, guys!

Re: Nice/Cannes

I told you an error about the Chagall Museum, it is the only one to have no free entrance.

The MATISSE Museum has the free entrance (Lots of painters and people like NIETSCHE  lived here for the incredible quality of the light. The Light is so good that now  lot of the cars RD Compagnies create the colour of the Cars here.

ps : if you like matisse, you can go to Vence (15 km from Nice) to see the Chapell he built there.

Re: Nice/Cannes

i don't know if it's saturdays only or every day in Nice, but i think if you're anything of a gourmet a visit to the market can be cool to, i remember i went nuts there. actually any market in the south of france is fun, and loads of antiquities dealers that sell amazing stuff fairly cheap. and there's also an impressive flower market, if i remember right?!

Re: Nice/Cannes

Your are right, in the old nice,  "cours saleya " there s this flOwers market every DAY. At the same place, there s WONDERFUL  fruits and Gem
