Topic: Sequential Pro-One scaling

I got my Pro-One repaired and some caps changed on it, the tech tuned it and the scaling is perfect on the keyboard.

But now the scaling is way off if I control it from my midi-cv converter.

i remember reading something about this problem, probably on the cbs forum.

I'm sure I can tune it with the "user trim" so that it scales fine from external cv, but how do I get both the external cv and keyboard to scale properly?

If anybody has experience with this, I'd really appreciate your help!

Re: Sequential Pro-One scaling

i had a problem with my scaling before.. i got it tuned so the keyboard works in scale.. (but i can only tune it when i have the osc sync switched to off)
but i never used a midi cv converter on it.. so i can't help much.. there must be some setting on the midi cv converter.. i wouldnt mess with the pro one after it has been tuned up..

Re: Sequential Pro-One scaling

What midi-cv converter do you have? Some of them have trimpots that you should adjust ... While checking on tuner or something

Re: Sequential Pro-One scaling

Ok, sorry for my retardedness, everything works fine.

i tried again this morning, I must have done something weird yesterday, it tracks almost perfectly as is.

I had to do a tiny bit of negative scaling on the Encore Expressionnist (-6), and now it's in tune over 5 octaves +/- 5 cents.
