Dunno if anyone would be interested in it, but what about a robot couch surfing network?
No, just letting people stay in your home town for a day or two (on a couch or floor or spare room) if you have the time and space to spare.
People reciprocate if you find yourself in their town.
Based on http://www.couchsurfing.com/ but seeing as everyone seems to have similar music interests it wouldn't be as weird as staying with total strangers.

yeah, I know, but I don't think others know. Some may not know where people are located and if they would be willing to have someone stay with them.
