Topic: Italo records in ...Italy?

Hey, im travelling through the europe in the summer. I'll be spending a lot of time in Northern italy like Trieste, Verona and maybe Venice and Milano.

I was just wondering, what are the chances of finding real italo disco vinyls from the italy itself?
Any italian robots here?

-> ja, it's quite handy... although i don't know if all those shops still exist... probably not!
so maybe check the shops first via internet. this one for ex could be interesting: Metropolis Dischi, V. Padova 104, Milan

Re: Italo records in ...Italy?

for records-
"Alt & neu" or also known as teuchtler is a great 2nd hand record store, but beware, you'll easily waste a whole day in there since the collection they have is so huge wink

Re: Italo records in ...Italy?

my bf was recently in milan, i gave him a list of about 100 records to keep his eyes open for. he found very few stores, the biggest and more prominant store was metropolis (as QOB pointed out above) but it was unfortunately closed the day he went to visit (shame, as they had some matia bazar and 45 boxes in the window). he found some random crate on the sidewalk somewhere but they didnt have anything other than your usual dollar/euro bin rock pop and old time italian music.

he was there for work though, so he didnt have very much time to do an indepth scouring of the city to try to find any other record shops. good luck to you fossa.
