Re: Roland MC500 super MRC disk needed

I guess you have checked already http://www.rolandus.com/support/downloa … _apps.aspx

Seems that there's disk for 500mk but it doesn't say it's mk2 .. Just MC-300 and MC-500 System MRC (PC - 149K)

Maybe you could ask Roland wink Somebody said that 'roland sent me both MRC and SUPER MRC operating systems for free. but the manuals cost me.'

Re: Roland MC500 super MRC disk needed

Yeah same shit, Mk2 or normal one works both but I can't get it on a floppt because I don't have a floppy drive anymore on the computer

Re: Roland MC500 super MRC disk needed

That's not a big problem I guess, I'm sure someone has one or you could buy usb floppy drive for peanuts these days I guess..

Re: Roland MC500 super MRC disk needed

Will that work with a HD floppy? Because I think the MC is DD or not??

Re: Roland MC500 super MRC disk needed

Yeah I think the mc is DD .. So hd formatted floppy wouldn work. But you can format hd floppy to dd (720k) on pc if you can't find a dd floppy anymore in shops.. Just when formatting you have to put some commandline switch, should be easy. I think it should work that way .. Though to be sure I'd use dd floppy ..
