you suggest is a good one? I read a mixed bag of reviews and I cannot make up my mind plus I cannot find any samples made with it...

I see, but you can do the same with the poly 800, I mean controller wise, and anyway you can programm it. one question, how do zou attach a keybord to it? via midi? so either the keybord or the controller?

Yeah, my DK80 even came with a original, double fitted power supply to hook up the both the DK and EX80.

Alas, my DK80 is broken so I can't record anything representative right now. Its patches sounds weird (I reckon that's because the battery is empty) and the 'enter' button doesn't respond (damn those shitty rubber buttons) so I can't program anything on it either...

I'll try to fix it, but if I can't I won't sob over it. In my memory, it's a crap synth, but fun. I think it's not much worse than a Poly 800, just different, perhaps more italian sounding. Fuzzy but also a bit nasal. It's not the best budget synth you can buy, that's why it so often even cheaper than the more common budget synths. The expander should do no more than 100 euro, less would be better (say 75). The DK could probably go for a bit more, maybe 125. Anything above that and you might be better of with a Crumar Bit or an Elka EK or something like that, I reckon those might cost 175 still.
