Topic: Different sleeves for same records

Often seen when pressed on different labels for different countries and (I thought) nice to start a thread about. One I'd like to start with:

Topo & Roby - Under The Ice

Il Discotto/ZYX

And three (!) different ones on Carrere/Clever

Re: Different sleeves for same records

Interesting topic... for some reason I thought of this one first:

hard-rocking discomagic sleeve

hard-sucking ZYX sleeve

Re: Different sleeves for same records

I traded away my copy of Charlie - Spacer Woman on Mr. Disc Organization (white hole but nice label also) cause I liked the ZYX-sleeve more....

I think I even like the 7"-sleeve on Mr Disc. Org. best.

Re: Different sleeves for same records

I just bought this first one of Topo & Roby on Carrere, and I saw the second one which is the same cover as the 7" I already had. Didn't know this third one. Sometimes I wonder why there are more sleeves for the same records even in one country.

I also noticed that are there are 2 different sleeves of the french pressing of 'Only Music Survives' from 'Alba'. One is the same as the Merak version and other pressings, the other can be found here:

Re: Different sleeves for same records

Dee D. Jackson's 'Cosmic Curves' lp has quite some different sleeves.
Jupiter pressing and some others:

Spanish pressing:

Italian pressing on durium with white cover:

Exactly the same album, but in France it's called Automatic Lover. Just like the single, with same artwork:

Re: Different sleeves for same records

Hmm...not too many entries lately...

Next to the original on the System-label (we all know right?) I found this one on ZYX pretty good:
http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=951063

Ice Eyes - No Sex originally on label Best (with No PS ;-) but with sexy PS on Carrere and slightly other bandname: Ice Cubes:
http://www.discogs.com/image/R-150-4107 … 715765.jpg

And again on Carrere (which seem to have other sleeves mostly) Cori Josias - Takin'It Straight:

Re: Different sleeves for same records

How about Donna Rouge by Fake?
I own a number of different releases:

http://web.archive.org/web/20071012181753/http://www.eurostop-online.com/artister/fake/bilder/donna_rouge_rock.jpg
http://www.discogs.com/Fake-Donna-Rouge … ase/245780
Italian DID release

The Italian Dig It release looks almost the same
http://www.discogs.com/Fake-Donna-Rouge/release/1061196

And the Italian 12 Inch stars release looks similar too
http://www.discogs.com/Fake-Donna-Rouge … ase/928119

I also have this one:
http://www.italowebdancer.nl/fakeremix.jpg
Bootleg 12"? I don't have the details right now and it's not on discogs.

http://web.archive.org/web/20071012181753/http://www.eurostop-online.com/artister/fake/bilder/Donnarougebild.jpg
German Ariola release, available in both 7" and 12" (same sleeve design)
12": http://www.discogs.com/Fake-Donna-Rouge/release/201142
7": http://www.discogs.com/Fake-Donna-Rouge/release/1807451

Then we have some more 7" releases:
An Il Discotto/DID 7":
http://odimusic.net/download/uploads/posts/2008-04/1209446666_donna-rouge-fake-1983.jpg

And a bootleg looking like this:
http://web.archive.org/web/20071012181753/http://www.eurostop-online.com/artister/fake/bilder/fake_g.jpg

And of course also the Swedish original 7", sung in Swedish and released on label Sound Of Scandinavia:
http://web.archive.org/web/20071012181753/http://www.eurostop-online.com/artister/fake/bilder/Donna_Rouge_se.jpg
http://www.discogs.com/Fake-Donna-Rouge/release/666233

Are there more?

Edit: For dome reason the discogs pictures work for a while, then they disappear. I now replaced them.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
All of my base,

Re: Different sleeves for same records
