Topic: retro future costume

I've been thinking my brains to shreds with this one, but i haven't come up with anything good.
Maybe if i ask you robots about it.

There are going to be 3 costume parties almost in a row. On of them has a general halloween theme, but the other two have cyberpunk and retrofuture theme.

Now i'd really like to be something cool. Something at least some people can recognize or relate to, but not anything lame like Spock or tasteless like Neo from the Matrix.

Something coolexx, that i know you robots might dig.
It would be nice to cover my face with something.
Maybe with laser!

Any ideas? Anything.

The clothing of the Unarian Cult is also very inspiring for retro future. I was going to be a Unarian for Halloween but ran out of time to start my costume so I just ordered a Japanese Red Panda kigurumi because it was easier and now I can lounge around the house in a red panda suit...

i'm really inspired about that factory worker pic.

I think i'm going to do something with a half face mask with some circuitry on it + somewhat that factory worker feel and look + some cheap diy flashing leds embedded somewhere in my head.

I stilln just wanna find something "normal" people can relate, like a character in a comic or a movie or a theme at least some people know.
