"Lady Thatcher has stated that she does not want her death and funeral to be a time of mourning, but of celebration"

I dont think she needs to worry about that.

i come from the same town as margaret thatcher. when she dies, no one will care.
there is not one monument or sign or anything comemorating her here. the only thing is her spitting image puppet is in the museum here.

Re: Margaret Thatcher died?

Thatcher dying would be a good thing, because it means there's one less power station built.
Why? She'll take ages to burn out, and no one will bother to piss on the flames...

Re: Margaret Thatcher died?

I think Thatcher is completely great. Every time some hippy-feminist who believes in pre-historic matriarchal societies (etc, etc, etc) claims all the world's problems would be solved with more women (or even only women) at the top I can mention Margaret and will spend the rest of the evening with a happy blissful grin. Ending debates by mentioning Hitler is in bad taste but Thatcher is -still- fair game.
