I mostly buy movies which aren't that often on TV (or cut).
My last buy is "The Big Boss".

There are a lot of DVDs I would only watch once and even for that would also be worth the purchase (if it's cheap enough). You don't have the hassle to look for a bonafide download etc.. Can't decide for another what's someone's "bias" on that though.

And there are classics (each has his/her own) that can be watched more than once and so are certainly nice to have.

Haven't bought that much lately just these:

Wuthering Heights (from 1939)
The Lost Boys: didn't like that much

it's next up in my queue on netflix, not even sure how i found out about it, but looks very cool.

the last DVD's i picked up was a box set of Val Lewton's work and Switchblade Sisters.

Garth Marenghi's class.. and havn't seen Blackadder for ages. Series 2 was my fave

I never buy dvds myself. I can find the best stuff on the net. Even stuff that is not available on dvd, like tv shows and things like that..
