Regarding those demo versions that got played... how about a little show where people send in their own old (!) demos, preferrably songs from the period shortly after they started making music, e.g. the first songs that were non-bullshit but still had that certain unprofessionality-flavour? There might be some really interesting things to hear, I guess...
