Topic: Formanta P-432

hey
you know guys where can I find the service manual for this synth? (Formanta P-432)
it's doing my head in
I cant find it anywhere.

I bought this synth recently and it arrived all fucked from Ukraine..
Now I'm trying to repair it , and no clues where I can find the service manual..

If you guys know somewhere I ask for it , would be much appreciated

Re: Formanta P-432

I doubt you'll find it online - you'll probably have to order it from this guy:

Re: Formanta P-432

what's fair is fair. hope you get what you need  smile I guess that synth may have cost a few hundo already with shipping etc so the schematics will just a little bit more.

[rant mode on] my original response was a bitmore emotional, and this is why. I'm just fed up with the dealers buying up everything in any condition as long as the seller is unaware of the magic words "ebay", "vintage" and "analog" (which still happens a lot) not to use it but to resell further to the states or europe etc making 500% profits along the way, blowing up the prices and making any even shitty old mass produced preset keyboard with no midi impossible to find. you say paying again for what should come with it is normal. well ok then, you're the buyers ultimately.[/rant mode off]

Re: Formanta P-432

schmoltz - I wouldn't be so quick to judge.

There are legitimate people who put a lot of effort into scanning rare synth and audio-gear schematics, like Mark Glinsky:

http://www.markglinsky.com/ManualManor.html

Besides, Ruskeys is a well-known repository for info for Russian synths, not to mention the only one that I know of. It takes a lot of effort to collect this kind of info and I have no problem in supporting archivist activities like this. The circuit schematics shouldn't have too much Cyrillic except for the calibration info. That can be manually typed into google translate.

Anyhow, I think you should back off with your unnecessarily derogatory comments.
