i would love so much to delete my year 2009, worst year ever in many points for me
Indeed, worst year ever for me too. Hope next year gets better, because it's getting ridiculous...
oh well, it's a new dawn - a new decade - a new liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiife for me. and i'm feeling good.
delete delete delete 2009 here too. Even though I don't think 2010 will be better.
Fines, recalculated energie bills, insurance trouble, the death of my car and much much more.
2009 has financialy sucked terrible ass. several thousend euro's that I just as wel
could have flushed down the toilet.
But disregarding the money troubles it was a good year
2010 is going to be awesome. I can just *feel* it.
This decade is coming to an end (only 10 days left!) and I still don't know what to call it.
I mean, we had the 50's, 60's, 70's 80's and 90's and I guess we're going into the 10's again (is it called the tens?), but what was this decade called?
00's, right? How do you say that?
Eighties, Nineties, .....?
Perhaps it doesn't deserve a name? Personally it was quite important to me but in a greater perspective it was rather pointless IMHO.
I frankly don't know the name of it, any ideas?

Could be, but I haven't notised that expression.
As I said, perhaps it will not be remembered as one of the most inportant decades in history.

previous decade = the noughties. which is basically the zeros. is next decade "the tens" or "the tenties"?

i'll catch up with you by saying i think loads of stuff happened in the NOties:
twin towers blown up;
two major wars involving a lot of western powers (or one war on two fronts, if you like);
israel-hezbollah war;
china and india emerging as new powers for a new century;
and that's just scratching the surface.
.... as ever, europe stagnates. nice architecture, nice clothes, but a drug problem and tired after all these years - that's europe.
let's just hope we don't all die when china, india, north korea, russia and the usa decide to have a big fight with big missiles!
