the movie is good
both as a time piece, and as a story, the acting is not bad, bit amaturish but it goes well with the story, it's
probably is even a good drug movie, it looks real enough
it does not go anywere near as deep as the book tho was my point
captain, i think you know it yourself(and i can imagine it would be even better in it's native langauge)

well, i've known several girls (and guys) using all kind of shit, and they still looked good. i lived in an area of amsterdam where all the junkie hookers were too.. that stuff doesn't start ruining your looks until after a while, but then it goes fast.. you can be a junkie, especially a young one, and still look good.

regarding the looks: teeth and eyes is were you see it fairly quickly
with CF, they've made her bit pale, put a couple of pimples on her cheeks and lots of black make up under her eyes
and called it the day, she never realy does look realy trashed
